I met Trudy in Daytona in 1979.  I was 18.  Packed up my car and drove south from MN. Rented an apt across the street.  She befriended this young girl.  She invited me to move in.  She was a dear mentor and friend.  Kept in contact all these yrs. since I came back to MN.

We spent a lot of time @ the Schooner.  Watching her play pool was always entertaining.

I've been calling for the last few weeks and her VM was full.  I'm sorry to find the reason.   She was larger than life in all ways.  We had plans to meet this fall.  If she was ill, she didn't tell me.

I visited her many times throughout the yrs..  She was such a vivid, alive person.  She made me laugh so… She came to MN to visit me also.

I'm so sorry she is gone.  For myself.  I liked the way she made me feel.

Condolences to her family.  She spoke of you often.

When I was 21, I went to see her in Daytona.  I had a Corvette.  We had drinks @ Ertles.  Next thing I knew, she had the Corvette on the sidewalk.  I never let anyone drive that car but her - she kept squealing rubber in all gears.  When I complained, she said, "that's what these cars were made for…"

I miss her so already.

I first met her in the early '70's'. We became friends, and of course my hairdresser. I talked her into taking a ride down to Daytona with me in 1978 and of coarse she did.She fell in love with the place and then moved there. visited a few times with her, and lost touch. Did not know she moved back. I've been looking in paper to see when her services was going to be, but was not able to find them. Well, Trudy, love love you, rest in peace.

Tomorrow we are having a memorial mass for my Aunt Trudy. She was a very real person and expressed her opinion freely and honestly. My husband and I along with our kids visited her in Florida as often as we could....Super Bowl in the heat instead of freezing Syracuse was awesome. She attended our annual Halloween party last year for the first time and loved holding Westin on her lap. Mikey and Mike were making her laugh, and the amount of kids at the party was just hilarious to her. She just sat at a stool in the kitchen, Amazed at the craziness. She loved that our family loved to have get togethers. She made some awesome cookies that day! Another wonderful memory is of Molly, Chinese buffet in Florida, her love of Christmas ornaments, Daytona and her pets. And of course, Ronnie. I really miss her each day and thank you for expressing your sympathy, as she was a special person to remember.  I wish I spent more time with her, she was very loved by me, which she knew. Thank you again. Love and prayers, her niece,  Maria WhiteπŸŒ΄πŸŒ΄πŸŒ΄πŸŒ΄πŸŒ΄πŸŒΊπŸŒΊπŸŒΊπŸŒΊπŸŒžπŸš™
