Edward Louis Danquer Jr., 86, of Syracuse passed away Wednesday at the VA Hospital.
He was a life resident of Syracuse. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War receiving the Purple Heart. Ed was retired from the Transportation Industry. He was member of the Disable Americans Veterans and the American Legion Post # 1. He was predeceased by his wife Marilyn in 1999 and a sister Shirley Pirong.
Ed is survived by his sister Lorraine DeForest and several nieces and nephews.
Services Wednesday at 1pm at Gang Memorial Chapel. Burial with Military Honors in Onondaga Valley Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday 11:00am -1:00pm at the funeral home 104 Fordham Rd. at Teall Ave.
In Lieu of flowers contributions to the Disabled American Veterans.

To Ed's family I was so sorry to hear of your loss. Ed was very quiet when he first started at the Senior Center but we got him to come out of his shell. He is going to be missed at the center. He sat at the same table as me.
