Joyce Walser Cahill, 92, of Manlius passed away peacefully on Monday at Crouse Hospital. She was born in Syracuse and has lived in the area all her life. Joyce owned and operated Walser Granite Company in Syracuse but spent most her time as a homemaker. She was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church, Fayetteville. Joyce was a longtime member of the Calvary Club, Manlius. She also volunteered with Meals on Wheels. She was predeceased by her husband William and a daughter Bonnie Gallagher in 2014.
She is survived by three sons, Dr. William (Pamela) Cahill, Robert (Kate O'Donnell) Cahill, Timothy R. Cahill, son in law Timothy Gallagher, seven grandchildren Amy Silberman, Brianna, Theresa, William, John Cahill , Jack and Meghan Gallagher, great grandson Elias.
Mass of Christian Burial Saturday at 10:00 am in Immaculate Conception Church, Fayetteville. Burial In St. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt. Calling hours are Friday 4-7 pm at funeral home 104 Fordham Rd. at Teall Ave.

I journeyed with the family when Bonnie was dying at Maine Medical Center in Portland and had the privilege to pray with them. I express my sincere condolences to the whole family and shall remember Joyce's soul at my Masses this weekend at Bonnie's home Parish where I presently serve as Pastor. My heart and prayers go out to the whole Family. May Joyce rest in the arms of her God this day! Fr. Bob

Joyce, you have traveled your path to its earthly completion, you are now free, and my comfort is that you and Bill will be together , and will able to be with their dear friends Jim and Agnes once again, beyond this existence!

Dear Bob, Bill, Timmy and family:
We are sorry for your loss she was a great friend, neighbor and lovely lady.
We will remember so many good times with her and your dad at the Cavalry Club and Le Moyne College Parents Weekend they were on the committee with my parents and in the neighborhood and at IC church. Your parents love and faith were very strong and got them thru the good and bad times. We miss your mom, dad and Bonnie and know you do too. Treasure all the good memories. She was blessed with a long life well lived.
