Lavina Kimber Snyder, 70, of Cicero passed away Thursday at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was born in East Syracuse the daughter of William Kimber and Beverly Cavallaro and has resided in the Syracuse area all her life. Lavina retired from the Technical Erectors of Syracuse.

Lavina is survived by her husband of 47 years Lawrence, a son John (Angela) Snyder, a daughter Laurie (Gary) Vail, her mother Beverly Cavallaro, three granddaughters Brianna Goettel, Mackenzie and Carylin Snyder, several nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday at 10:30 am in Assumption Church. Entombment in Woodlawn Mausoleum. Calling hours are Monday 4-7pm at Gang Memorial Chapel 104 Fordham Rd. at Teall Ave.
