Jerald “JR” Jones, 54, of Syracuse passed away Sunday. He was born in Potsdam NY and has resided in Syracuse most of his life. He was employed by The Sheraton University Inn. JR was a life long Denver Broncos Fan and avid fan of all Syracuse sports organizations. He loved animals, especially his dogs.
He is survived by his mother Penelope Fredel, a brother Troy (Melissa) Jones, a sister Megan Jones, a niece Kaylin Jones.
Memorial Services 2:00PM Wednesday at Gang Memorial Chapel 104 Fordham Rd. at Teall Ave.

Sending condolences on the passing of JR. My twin and I were classmates of his in Junior High school and we hung out in the same circle of friends. He was so full of spunk and humor, and he certainly loved his Broncos! I reconnected with him a few years ago on Facebook. I have to say he fought the Cancer as much as I've seen anyone, and seemed hopeful long after I would have been. He will certainly be missed by those who knew him.
