Edith E. Mackey Touse, 94, of Syracuse passed away Thursday at Crouse Hospital after a brief illness. Edith was born in Kenross, Michigan and has resided in Syracuse most of her life. Before retiring she worked at Bill's Market in Lyncourt for 40 years. She also was a judge of 4-H competitions at the State Fair for many years. She was predeceased by her husband Stewart Touse in 1996.
She is survived by a daughter Pamela (James) Meil, of Ocala, Fla., two sons Malcolm and Rexford P. Touse, both of Syracuse, six grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Services Monday 1:00 PM at Gang Memorial Chapel 104 Fordham Rd. at Teall Ave. Calling hours are Monday 11-1 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
