Oliver L. Quantrille

Oliver L. Quantrille, 73, of Syracuse passed away on Friday at Loretto Health Care Center. He was born in Washington, DC and has resided in Syracuse most of his life. Oliver was a Vietnam Air Force Veteran. He retired in 2008 from Schilling Forge Company after forty years of service. He was a communicant of Assumption Church and a member of it’s Ushers Club where he served as treasurer. Oliver was predeceased by his wife former Johanna Klaisle in 2011.
He is survived by a son Timothy C. Quantrille, a twin brother Henry (Kay) Quantrille, his brother in law Herman Klaisle, a grand daughter Jada.

Services 10:00am Tuesday at Gang Memorial Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30am in Assumption Church. Burial in Assumption Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday 4-7pm at the funeral home 104 Fordham Rd. at Teall Ave.

Tim so sorry for your loss I was friends with your Dad and Uncle Henry when they lived on State St. corner Amherst Ave. Again sorry for your loss my prayers to you and your family
