Beverly E. White, 91 3/4, of Syracuse, 'caught' the 7:08 A.M. Special Bound for Glory train on Tues., March l; one stop-over before reaching her final destination of 'Homeland Security.'
Loved ones blew kisses assuring her they'd meet up again sometime in the future.
"Bev' enjoyed a 43 year career with NY Tel (now Verizon), retiring as Assistant Engineer. She was a long time member of the Telephone Pioneers.
"Bev' was an original; a one-of-a-kind gal. A great sense of humor; teeming over with wisdom, warmth and wit; and oh, those creative poems that flowed from her pen; ofttimes thank you's for favors done; some recipients have been known to frame those originals and proudly display them on their wall.
Surviving are her sister, Joan E. (Joygerm Joan) Nieces Linda (Duane ) Klumpp; Beverly Joan (George) Maziarz; Mary (Scott) Boudeman and Molly (Matt) Fetch. Also nephews Fred White, Mike (Donna)White and James Fuller (Elizabeth) White' also 13 great-nieces and nephews and 6 great-great nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her brother, James E. White.

There will be an hour of visitation on Saturday, March 5 in the Church of Assumpion, 812 N. Salina St. from 9:30 to l0:30; Celebration of Life to follow at l0:30. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
