I am and will continue to be lonely without the Thomson family in my daily life but, my heart rejoices knowing that Nina and Bill are together again! Memories of my teenage years are flooding my head. Even my children grew up knowing them as "Bobbsey" Grandma and Grandpa. I count myself greatly blessed by the love that Nina and Bill showed to me and so many others. Righteous examples of true Christians! No one is perfect, but I think that they came the very closest!

Bishop Bill Thompson was the kindest person I have known. He was my husband's and my home teacher when my husband was in a nursing home. Bill and Nina provided transportation back and forth from church. I will miss his beautiful base voice. He was a loving father. I remember one time when I went to the Palmyra Temple with Nina, Julia Vasquez and him, he met one of his grandsons there. You could see the love he had for his family. I will miss my good friend. My condolences to all his family. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of loss. He is in the arms of his beloved companion Nina.

To the Thomson family...I loved your dad when I was a young woman in the Syracuse, NY ward...he was only my bishop for a very short time before I left for BYU, but he and your mom were always so kind and loving to me as they knew I was the only member of the church in my family. I attended Henninger High School at the same time that James did, and the love the Thomsons had for each other was obvious even then, although they had their ups and downs like all of us. So glad that Bishop and Sister Thomson are together again...love to the family.
