Anthony L. Cosentino, 84, of Lyncourt passed away peacefully on Monday surrounded by his family. He was a life resident of Syracuse. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War. Anthony retired as owner operator of the K Amusement Co. He was Past Fire Chief of the Lyncourt Fire Department serving the Dept. and the community for over sixty years. Anthony was predeceased by his wife Patricia in 2009 and grand daughter Jeanelle Crowell-Cross in 2012.
He is survived by his son Edward (Stephanie) Cosentino, of Syracuse, a daughter Kathleen (Rick) Crowell, of Liverpool, brother Joseph Cosentino, of Ogdensburg, sister Rose Eppolito, of Syracuse, five granddaughters Ashley, Courtney, Alyssa Cosentino, Gina Cavallaro, Kari Anne(Dennis) Kosdrosky, two grandsons Salvatore (Mina) Cavallaro, Vincent Cavallaro, three great grandchildren Madison, Alexyia and Kole.
Mass of Christian Burial 9:00am Friday in St. Daniel’s Church. Burial in Assumption Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday 3-7pm in the church 3008 Court St. Syracuse
The family would life to thank the staff on the 4th floor of Central Park Health Care for their kind and compassionate care of their father.
