Cathy, Katie, Scottie, Jeff, Kelsey and families,

I am so sorry about Scott's passing. The world has lost a wonderful man. I liked him from the moment I met him over 28 years ago. He was charming, compassionate, loving, hardworking and loved his family dearly. I am honored to have had him for a brother in law. I will miss him terribly. I will remember all the good times had in his presence. All of these memories I will always hold close to my heart always. Love to all of you. RIP Scott.

Dear Cathy,
On Behalf of my family, please accept our condolences. Although the mechanisms of life has created a distance between my cousin Scott and I, those happy childhood memories of visits to Staten Island will not be forgotten. Scott spoke highly of you, he loved you dearly. He was a proud father. I was honored to have met your family on my last visit, it is clear to me that you will be surrounded with loved ones during these confusing times.
With Love,
Jeff O'Brien

Dear Cathy and family - So sorry to learn of Scott's passing. His presence was truly uplifting and his spirit so infectious. We shared many happy memories of our exploits with the South Gate Inn softball fraternity. He deeply impacted all those he touched. Peace be with you at this difficult time.

Cathy & family - I am so sorry to hear of Scott's passing. He was truly one of the most motivated deputies that I worked with. Work for him was fun. There was never a dull moment with Scott. His idea of a good time was to go out and find a stolen car during his tour of duty. He always seemed to have an upbeat, positive attitude. He trained several deputies within the Sheriff's Department, some of whom are still working today. We lost a good one.

To The Dunseath Family,
I am so terribly sorry for your loss. I went to high school with Katie, she was such a sweet sweet person which I'm sure speaks to the kind of people her parents were. I'm certain there is nothing that can ease your pain right now but I pray that one day you are able to replace the pain with the beautiful memories of your father, husband, brother, son, friend. God Bless!!!

To the family of Scott Dunseath - my deepest sympathy for your loss. I personally did not know Scott. However, I also have a brother at Van Duyn and came to know his mother Gloria. She was a wonderful person who kept vigil with Scott during his illness.
