Sharon A. Langford Monroe, 69, of Central Square passed away peacefully on Wednesday at St. Joseph’ Hospital.
She was a life resident of the Syracuse area. Sharon retired in 1989 from Centro Bus after 19 years of service. She was a member of the Amalgamated Transit Union 580. Sharon specially enjoyed driving bus for the Vision Impaired.
She was in the US Army Reserves from 1978 to 1981 attached with the 376th Combat Hospital Unit. Sharon active with the American Business Women Assoc. of Syracuse, volunteered with the American Red Cross and Special Olympics. She was predeceased by her parents James and Marion Langford.
She is survived by her son David, of San Diego five sisters, Diane Salatti, of Marcellus, Elizabeth Case, of Baldwinsville, Irene Weir, of Cato, Connie Langford, of Central Square, Linda Daniels, of California and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Private.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss , Sharron was a beautiful lady inside and out , I loved here so much, she was my 3 rd grade bus driver, then I saw her when I became an adult, she was there when I had my son , she will be miss ,
David I don't know if you remember me or not, I'm praying for your family that god will give you all what you need to Give you peace threw your pain.
