Anne E. McMahon Schadt, 91, of Syracuse passed away Thursday at home surrounded by family. A lifelong resident of Syracuse, Anne attended Most Holy Rosary School and graduated from Vocational High School. She was a communicant of Assumption Church, and volunteer for Meals on Wheels. Anne was predeceased by her husband Robert F. Schadt in 2003.

Anne is survived by three daughters Patricia (James) Good, of Pueblo, CO., Susanne (Philip) Gerhart, of Newark, Carol (Kabalan) Habre, of Lansdale, PA., two sons Robert M. (Lorraine) Schadt, of Liverpool, Eric (Andra) Schadt, of Jamesville, twelve grandchildren, four great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Services will begin at 10:00am Wednesday at Gang Memorial Chapel, followed by 10:30am Mass at Assumption Church. Burial ceremony at Assumption Cemetery. Calling hours will be Tuesday 4-6pm at the funeral home, 104 Fordham Rd. at Teall Ave.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Assumption Church, 812 N. Salina St. 13208.

Anne, Mary Woodworth and my mom, Dorothy Stempinski, had great times together especially their trip to Ireland together. My husband and I saw Anne at Mary's burial at Assumption Cemetery and Anne 9was doing so well!! I am so sorry for your loss--just loved your mom but can't believe she's gone!! May God bless you all.
