Tommy Venner was my next door neighbor growing up on Harford Rd.
His mother and father were very good friends of my parents.
As a young boy, Tommy and his brother Billy were boyhood heroes for me and my brother John.
I'm not surprised at all that he led a heroic life.
God bless his wonderful memory.

I am truly saddened at Tom's passing, we were good friends at work and I admired and respected him. We spoke of NASCAR often. Tom, I know you and Curt will tip a few. God Bless.

To Tom's family and friends: While in Maine, my wife informed me of Tom's passing and I'm sorry to not make the services. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you in this dark moment in time. To my friend Tom: Rest in peace my friend. Our days at North High are long gone, but memories live on. The Indian and the Harley never got a chance to ride together as we planned, maybe in the next world. Ride the wind up there Tom and pave us a road. Your friend John.
