Lenore Rafka Freitag, 86, of N. Syracuse passed away Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was a life resident of the Syracuse Area. She retired in 1984 from the Branch Motor Express after 16 years of service. Lenore was a former the the Arion Singing Society. She was predeceased by her husband Rudolf in 2009.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews including Nancy & Jean Egerbrecht, Karen Rafka (Larry) Quinn, Debbie Sheer & Raymond Vermeulen, Ed & Heidi Hunter, also grandnieces and grandnephews Jeff Quinn, Holly Bundy, Kari Quinn, Jamie Shiko.
Services will be private. Entombment in Woodlawn Mausoleum.

Mrs, Freitag was like an Aunt to me while I was growing up on Fletcher Drive in North Syracuse. She taught me so much and I've always been grateful for her kindness and generosity.
