Matthew Gerard Schultz, age 59, a resident of Baltimore, and previously of Pasadena, passed on October 27, 2018.

He was born on September 22, 1959, in Baltimore, to the late Ann Patricia (nee McGowan) and Elmer Joseph Schultz, Jr. He graduated from Mount Saint Joseph High School, where he pitched for the varsity baseball team. He was a passionate sports fanatic, as well as an avid Jimmy Buffett fan. He loved the beach and people watching at Canton waterfront, and eating Maryland Crabs every chance he had. Matt was deeply spiritual and found peace in his routine hour of prayer every morning. He loved his family, and spending time with his four children.

He is survived by his three loving daughters: Amanda Davis and her husband Josh, Christine Schultz, and Caroline Schultz; his dear son Matthew Schultz, II; his three devoted brothers: Mark Schultz, Paul Schultz and his wife Kathleen, and Michael Schultz; and his two dear sisters: Margaret “Peggy” Preloh and her husband Michael, and Susan Bock and her husband Keith.

Family requests friends attend a memorial gathering at 10 AM on Saturday, November 3, 2018 in the Highland Community Church, 3930 Fleet St., Baltimore 21224. His memorial service will immediately follow at 11 AM. Those who wish may donate to the church in Matt’s name, and feel free to express your condolences below as well.

To All of Matt's Family & Friends,
May you find comfort in the memories! Here's just a few that I was able to be a part of over the years. 1) Dancing to Sinatra 2) Singing Cheeseburger in Paradise 3) Him playing Santa at our Family's Christmas gatherings. He will be missed dearly. May he watch over all of us like the rest of our Angels in Heaven. Much Love, Suzanne
