Charles Alexander McCurdy, Sr., age 80, a resident of Pasadena, died peacefully in his home on Saturday, October 20, 2018.
He was born on November 24, 1937, in Baltimore, to the late Mary (nee Gleason) and Charles McCurdy. After graduating from Glen Burnie High School, he entered the US Army, serving until July of 1963. He went on to become self employed as the owner of FMB Laundry, Inc. He was also a member and Past President of the Rotary Club of Glen Burnie.
Along with his parents, Chuck is preceded in death by his son David Fox; his three brothers: Donald, Butch, and Johny Fox; and his sister Arlien Jester.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years: Gwendolyn (nee Conklin) McCurdy; his son Charlie McCurdy, Jr. and daughter in law Carol Ann McCurdy.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Chesapeake.
