Glen Miller, age 67, a resident of Perry Hall, passed on October 27, 2018.

He was born on February 25, 1951, in Baltimore, to the late Sadie Marie (nee Franklin) and Louis Ganzzermiller. After finishing high school, he joined the US Army, earning the National Defense Service Medal and Sharpshooter Badge; serving until April of 1972, when he transferred into the Army National Guard. He went on to work for General Motors Corporation, retiring after 30 years. During his free time he loved his hot dogs and potato pancakes, (he enjoyed eating at G&A), and liked dancing and being the center of attention.

Along with his parents, Glen is preceded in death by his sister Rebecca Ganzzermiller.

He is survived by his two sons: Noel, of Maryland, and Wesley and his wife Sabrina, of Texas; and his brother Louis and his wife Diane, of North Carolina.

Family requests friends visit the Gregory J. Gonce Funeral Home, 169 Riviera Drive, Pasadena, on Thursday from 10 to 11 AM. His funeral service will immediately follow at 11 AM, with Rev. Milt Zahn officiating. His burial will follow, with military honors, in Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens. Feel free to leave your condolences below as well.

My sincere sympathy to Glen's sons Noel, Wessely, and Glen's entire family. I met Glen at a PWP Dance along with Gary, Donna, and many others. Our little group of "dancers" would go out several nights a week, for many years, just dancing and having a great time. I will truly, miss his laughter. He was very quick-witted and could always put a smile on anyone face. Rest In Peace Hot Dog...until we meet again. Love, Mary

Dear family,
In this time of sorrow, my condolences are with you. And may these beautiful words from the Scriptures help you to endure, for Jehovah is the God of all comfort. “Do not be anxious.....but in everything by prayer and supplication along with thanksgiving, let your petitions be made known to God; and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus.” Isaiah 26:4; 2 Corinthians 1:3-4; Philippians 4:6-7 NWT. Peace and many happy memories of Glen be with you.

One of our Meetup members sent me an email. I am shocked to hear about Glen's passing. I've known Glen for many years, but as life gets busy; life's changes, time gets away from us, and sometimes we don't get to see our friends as we'd like, but never forget. Glen is, and was, such a friendly guy, so full of life; fun to be with, and a "good dancer"at those PWP dances. I guess we are all getting more mature now, which is sometimes difficult when reality sets in. I will miss you Glen Miller! May the angels carry you into heaven, and be at Peace with God. Blessings to Your Family. Sandy Moll (Frasca)

Mr. Glen was a neighbor of ours and well liked by everyone here.
I was saddened and shocked to hear of his passing. Truly a great neighbor and he will be very much missed in the building and our community.

My deepest condolences to his family.
