Edie is survived by son, Charles L. Dewling Jr and his wife, Sandra of Glen Burnie, MD, son, Stan Dewling of Pasadena, MD,  daughter, Lori Ruszin and her husband Tom of Pasadena, MD,  daughter, Mary Clifford of Annapolis, MD and son, John Dewling and his wife, Anita of Pasadena, MD. Edie was a homemaker who provided a warm and nurturing life for her family. She was a devout Catholic and a devoted member of St. Jane Frances DeChantel Parish.  She was a member of the Sodality and Sanctuary Societies and volunteered at countless church and school events and Our Daily Bread.

Edie was a member of the ATNOS. She felt blessed to be part of this social group that was comprised of life-long friends who raised their families together, vacationed together and supported one another throughout their lives.

Mrs Dewling was one of the moms I will always fondly remember from childhood from her telling Mary to get up for Softball practice to raiding her delcious home made Irish Sweet Potatoes in the basement refrigerator. She was an incredible mother. Prayers to all of the Dewling family and everyone that was blessed to know her.

Mary, John, Lori, and family,

I am so sorry about the passing of your Mom. I just found out yesterday, as Laurie and I left on October 15 for overseas travel and were away for 35 days. Please accept our sincere condolences. We remember your Mom as one of the "gang" of which my Mom was part. Ms. Edie always seemed very fun loving to me and was so cute I always wanted to hug her. With her passing, another page in time has turned. We will miss her greatly.

Mark
