Paul has been our neighbor for 38 years. He was a great neighbor, always waving when we saw each other, as well as having many conversations over the years. He even saved his scrap wood to give us to use for kindling in our wood burning stove.
I know he was very proud of his Marine Corp service and had the USMC flag flying in his yard for as long as I can remember. At the Lake Shore Volunteer Fire Company, our Honor Guard has presented a "Salute to our Veterans" dinner and ceremony for the last four years. Paul was very proud to attend, as well as his brothers and his Marine Corp buddies. We were very honored to salute them for their service.
We will miss you! Semper Fi, and rest in eternal peace Paul.

My most sincere condolences to the family and friends of Paul. I have known him for many years through my association with the Friends of Kinder Farm Park. He was a kind, gentle man who always expressed his love for his family and his military service. Was always there to help and even provided guard for us when we dedicated our new flagpole. It was quite impressive to see him in uniform! He completed innumerable projects for the park with great craftsmanship and pride. His death has left a large hole in the hearts of many there. No one can fill those shoes! Our loss is Heaven's gain!

With our sincere condolences to the entire family of dear Paul, we wish you all peace and comfort. Our hearts go out to you all and we pray for your tranquillity. Paul is one of a kind who was always honored by his beautiful family and brave military service. He has shown this pride and joy through the years. His picture in full uniform is still on our refrigerator and it will stay there. Paul is a very special, kind, and gentle person who always treated me like family no matter what. Thank you Paul for so many years of warm greetings and many hugs goodbye at family events. I loved talking to you about so many things and I will forever cherish the spice box you hand crafted especially for us. It comes in very handy and is beautifully made. You are family to my family. Your magnificent, beautiful, and very thoughtful wife, who I adore, made me feel the same and you two are a wonderful couple of eternal love. May God be with you both in Heaven. We will miss you. Love always, Laura, Dave, Joey, and Briana

I knew Mr. Paul as a neighbor and became best friends with his youngest son. I had the honor and pleasure to work with him on many building projects as a young man and the lessons I learned from him are priceless. His work ethic, passion for building, and generosity are contagious. I will miss and never forget the “Hi Ronnie” and wonderful stories he would tell when visiting my parents house. Keep an eye on us all Mr. Paul.
