Juanita Helen Scardina, (nee Manning), passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2017, surrounded by her family. Born on October 26, 1939, she was the beloved wife of the late Vincent G. Scardina; loving mother of Mary Jo Bush, Vincent “Vinny” Scardina, William “Bill” Scardina, Violet Ortega, and Nicolette “Niki” Novak; devoted sister of Violet Lowery, William Manning, and Edward Manning; and proud grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 PM in St. Jane Frances Church on Friday, with her burial to follow in Glen Haven Memorial Park. Those who wish may donate to the Hospice of the Chesapeake at www.hospicechesapeake.org, and feel free to express your condolences below as well.

Hi family, this is Beverly from the BWMC, Mrs. Scardina is my baby forever but don't worry about her because, she has a new body now no more pain, she was welcome by all of her love ones they was at the gate waiting on her, she is now wearing her white and her wings flying high, telling them about what was going on down here, I just want to thank you guys for letting me come into your mother life and sharing sometime with her I will always love her and will miss her but, I will always remember her smile. Love you all and if I can ever do anything for you please let me know.
