Corey James Ferrell, age 22, a lifetime resident of Pasadena, tragically died in an automobile accident on March 9, 2017.

He was born on September 29, 1994, in Baltimore, to Pamela and Darren Ferrell. After attending Northeast High School, he went to work as a carpenter. During his free time he enjoyed skateboarding and snowboarding.

Corey is preceded in death by his grandparents: Theodore and Lillian Sanford, and Jimmy and Geraldine Ferrell; and his Mom-Mom and Pop-Pop Sue and Ted Sanford.

He is survived by his loving parents: Pamela Sanford Ferrell and Darren Ferrell; his two devoted brothers: Justin Ferrell and Robert "Shorty" Miller; his cherished girlfriend of five years: Cearra Nickalson and her son Kayden who he loved as his own; and his aunts and uncles: Teddy and Kathy Sanford, and Michael and Michelle Sanford.

Family requests friends visit on Wednesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM at the Gregory J. Gonce Funeral Home, 169 Riviera Drive, Pasadena. His funeral service will begin on Wednesday at 7:30 PM at the funeral home, during the evening visitation hours, with Rev. Jan Drayer officiating.
