Andrew W. Price, Sr., "Pop" age 91, a resident of Glen Burnie for 58 years, passed away at his home on February 26, 2017 after a lengthy bout with Alzheimer's disease.

He was born on December 1, 1925, in Ferndale, to the late Christina and Andrew Michael Price. A veteran of WWII, he served in the US Navy from 1943 through 1944. He worked for the US Health Public Service Veteran's Hospital, which became Wyman Park Health, and finally Johns Hopkins, as a maintenance technician and HVAC installer. During his free time he enjoyed crabbing, playing bingo; and was a big fan of the Orioles and Ravens. He was an original member of the Colts Corral #1, and was also a charter member of the Knights of Columbus chapter 7025.

Along with his parents, Pop is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 42 years: Lucina Price, who passed in May of 2001.

He is survived by his three sons: John, Milt and his wife Debbie, and Andy and his wife Kim; his daughter Pat Sohn and her husband Michael; his two sisters: Catherine Claytor and Jean Simmons; seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and his faithful dog Princess.

The family invites friends to visit at the Gregory J. Gonce Funeral Home, PA, 169 Riviera Drive, Pasadena, on Tuesday from 7 to 9 PM, and Wednesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 Noon on Thursday in the Church of the Crucifixion, with his burial to follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
