Grey Martin Sewell, Sr. "Jack", age 69, a lifetime resident of Pasadena, died on January 1, 2016, after a brief illness.

He was born on January 14, 1946, in Baltimore, to the late Edna and Luther Sewell. After high school, he enlisted in the US Navy, serving from 1963 until 1967. He went on to work for the Motor Vehicle Administration, and as a mechanic for American Bus. A member of the Colt Corral #29 and the Curtis Bay Athletic Club, he was also a member of the APA, as he enjoyed shooting pool in the county leagues. He was also an avid fan of the Ravens and Orioles.

Along with his parents, Jack is preceded in death by his daughter Shelly Sewell and his son Grey M. Sewell, Jr "Jackie".

He is survived by his beloved wife of over 45 years: Jo-Ann Sewell; his daughter Brandi Sewell; and two grandchildren: Brendan and Frankie.

The family invites friends to visit at the Gregory J. Gonce Funeral Home, PA, 169 Riviera Drive, Pasadena, on Sunday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. His funeral service will begin at 12:30 PM on Monday, Rev. Milt Zahn officiating. His interment will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Park.
