Marilyn Caroline Gray, age 74, a resident of Pasadena for 15 years, and previously of Baltimore, died at her home on July 16, 2015 after a lengthy illness.

She was born on May 24, 1941, in Baltimore, to the late Marilyn Caroline Endley (nee Metzler) and Harry W. Knaus, Sr. After attending Southern High School, she went on to work as a bookkeeper for a family business, and volunteered her time as a Sunday school teacher. She enjoyed playing cards, watching TV, reading the Bible, spending time with family and friends, and helping others.

Along with her parents, Marilyn is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 36 years: Leo John Gray; her daughter Bonnie L. (Gray) Johnson, and her brother Donald R. Endley.

She is survived by her daughter Robin A. Gray, of Baltimore; three grandchildren: Rachel L. Gray Entsminger, of Glen Burnie, Richard D. Johnson, of Delaware, and Hannah S. Johnson, of Baltimore; her sister Ernestine Mekins, of Pasadena; two brothers: Harry W. Knaus, Jr., of Sykesville, and James E. Endley, II of Castle Rock, Colorado; and her sister Sherrie L. Wilson, of Glen Burnie.

Family requests friends visit on Tuesday at the Gregory J. Gonce Funeral Home, PA, 169 Riviera Drive, Pasadena, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. Her funeral service will begin on Wednesday at 1 PM, with her burial to follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery. Feel free to express your condolences here as well.

I give my condolence to the people that Mrs. Gray left behind and that you will all be in my heart and prayers. Mrs. Gray and I go back 40years when I was hanging out with her daughters. She was a very special women with a big heart and always open arms to me and who ever else needed her. Mrs Gray is gone but never will be forgotten. Her memories will cherish us forever. May she rest in peace with her love ones above and her heavenly father on her side. God Bless To All
