Wilmer Vincent Coulter, "Mike" age 90, a resident of Pasadena for 37 years, and formerly of Pennsylvania, died on November 2, 2014 at Ellicott City Nursing and Rehab after a 10 month illness.

He was born on July 12, 1924, in Baltimore, to the late Blanche Elizabeth and Wilmer Vincent Coulter, Sr. He attended both Poly Technic and City College, and went on to attend Washington College after his discharge from the US Navy, where he served during WWII from 1943 until 1946. He worked for over 40 years as a general manager in the industrial gasses industry. He was a long time member and past Commodore of the Patapsco River Power Squadron; the Ventnor Yacht Club; and the Chesapeake Commodore's Club, and enjoyed recreational boating, steamed crabs, the Baltimore Orioles, and family get-togethers.

Along with his parents, Mike is preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children: Dorothy Coulter.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years: Betty Coulter; his two sons Michael and James Coulter; his daughter Maureen Coulter; two stepdaughters: Bernadette Sandruck and Linda Beyer; three stepsons: William Heere-Beyer, Edward Beyer, and Lawrence Beyer; his brother Donald Coulter; twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Friends are invited to visit on Thursday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM at the Gregory J. Gonce Funeral Home, PA, 169 Riviera Drive, Pasadena. On Friday, the procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 AM to go to a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at 11 AM in St. Jane Frances de Chantal Church. His interment will follow, with military honors, in Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens. Feel free to express your condolences here as well.
