Philip Mario DeMario, age 73, a resident of Pasadena for 29 years, died of cancer on September 1, 2014 at his home after a long illness.

He was born on March 3, 1941, in Baltimore, to the late Theresa and Matthew DeMario. A graduate of Mt. St. Joseph High School, he served honorably in the National Guard, and went on to work as a professional planner for Northrop Grumman. A member of the Stoney Creek Senior Citizen's Club, he served as their treasurer, and enjoyed crossword puzzles, bingo, and sports.

Philip is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years: Linda DeMario; his daughter Michele Adkins, of Edgemere; his son Philip DeMario, of Timonium; granddaughters Alexis and Kylie Larsen, of Edgemere, and Lia DeMario, of Timonium; grandson Gavin Adkins, of Edgemere; and his brother Matthew DeMario, of Columbia.

Friends are invited to visit on Thursday and Friday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM at the Gregory J. Gonce Funeral Home, PA, 169 Riviera Drive, Pasadena. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 AM in St. Jane Frances Church, with Monsignor Carl Cummings officiating, with his interment to follow in Meadowridge Memorial Park.
