Claudius T Hawkins -

What a name! Claudius so powerful and so strong!
Mrs Hawkins was an early Christmas present to her wonderful parents Mrs Martha Marie Norton Smith  Of Baltimore Maryland & Mr Henry Smith of Virginia. They unwrapped their beautiful baby girl on Dec 20th, at 9:20am .
She Attended Douglas High school in Baltimore city her hometown.

She met Alexander Richardson in  high school - through their love they share a daughter Vera Gomez

She later met and married  Jerry D Hawkins in Sept  1967 Who is Desceased.

Claudie  as her family knows  her, Theresa or Mrs Hawkins as her friends and coworkers know her, she was a very caring and loving person always willing to help someone in need or give advice, one of her greatest joys was working in the medical field .one of the first was St Vincent Infant Home.she adored children, she worked various places with senior citizens and her last job was medical technician at Prince Georges Health Dept where she retired in 2006.

Mrs Hawkins or Mama as I know her was a beautiful and amazing woman she is truly an Icon. She leaves behind one daughter Vera Gomez & her son in law Mario Gomez, three grandchildren Eduardo, Tomas, & Lissette, a godson Joaquin Lopez, 3 sisters Henrietta, Annette, Lois, 3 brothers Herman, Marcus, & Kenneth. A host of nieces and nephews and their children, all of whom are left with a hole in their hearts.

Mrs Hawkins made a friend or 5 wherever she went, even at Johns Hopkins Hospital. There are many nurses, technicians, and even doctors who will miss her bringing a smile or laugh to their faces. The nurses loved her so much they came to her room the day she was going home and played music and danced with her down the hall as she was leaving.

Claudius T. Hawkins will be sincerely missed by everyone she met. She made it to her home where she wished to be before she continued on her journey home.
