Margaret Shirley Geisler, age 84, a resident of Clearwater Beach for 65 years, and formerly of Baltimore, passed away on August 3, 2013 at her daughter’s home after suffering from Alzheimer’s for three years.

She was born on July 5, 1929, in Baltimore, to the late Edna Henrietta and John Walter Milke. Margaret was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting, baking, and spending time with her family.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years: George F. Geisler, and her two brothers: Alfred Feast and Thomas Milke.

Margaret is survived by her daughter Janet Smith and her husband Michael; her grandson Michael Smith, Jr and his wife Holly, all of Glen Burnie; granddaughter Megan Smith of Clearwater Beach; and two great grandsons: Terry Putnam, III, of Clearwater Beach and Michael Smith, III, of Glen Burnie.

The family requests friends visit on Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM at the Gregory J. Gonce Funeral Home, PA, 169 Riviera Drive, Pasadena. Her funeral service will commence on Wednesday at 12 Noon, with burial to follow in Glen Haven Memorial Park. Those who wish may contribute to the Alzheimer’s Association at 225 N.
