Gloria Eileen Conrad, age 87, a resident of Riviera Beach for 52 years, died on June 3, 2013 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center of a cerebral hemorrhage.

She was born on December 17, 1925, in Baltimore, to the late Anna and Clarence J. Lloyd. A graduate of the Institute of Notre Dame, she worked as a bookkeeper at Southern Galvanizing for 30 years, and was a member of the Poplar Ridge Senior Club, and the Stoney Creek Senior Citizens Club. She enjoyed travelling, the Orioles and Ravens, taking care of her children and grandchildren, and spending time with her family and friends.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers: Geary and Jerome Lloyd.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 48 years: Charles F. Conrad, Jr.; her son William Leo Hughes; two daughters: Eileen Hughes Jordan and Nancy Conrad Sachs; her brother Clarence J. Lloyd; 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Family requests friends visit on Sunday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM at the Gregory J. Gonce Funeral Home, PA, 169 Riviera Dr, Pasadena. The procession will leave the funeral home on Monday at 8:45 AM to go to St. Jane Frances Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:15 AM, with Monsignor Carl Cummings Officiating. Her burial will follow in Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville. Feel free to express your condolences here as well.

She was a wonderful, thoughtful aunt who always had a smile and a kind word with just the right wit. She will be missed.
