I am a former classmate of Bernices from Southern High School. I met her in the 9th grade and we were classmates all through school until graduation.
The last time I saw her was at one of our class reunions.
I remember the shore home her family had at Brandon Shores and enjoyed many visits.
Bernice was very friendly and always had a smile. I will never forget her.
My sympathy to her family.
Love, Nelda

For my early years of life Albert and Bernice were special to me for a young man serving his country and they always treated me like a son . The Dewling family also played a roll in my life to become a strong young christian man . The love of Bernice toward me in my Navy Service touched me with her letters of support When her daughters were small and I was visiting different countries around the world , I would send Bernice and the girls different dolls from Spain and France and other areas.

May God keep her in his arms and Bless her family ,

Dear Ellerman Family:
Please accept my deepest sympathy on the loss of Bernice. I am a childhood friend of your cousin, Jackie. When we were teenagers, we would visit at the family shore home. We always had fun. Of course, one night, Albert was sleepwalking and scared me...he never let me forget it. Ask Jackie and she will tell you all about it. I know they are both together again and smiling. Enjoy life as they would want you all to be happy.
Sincerely,
Bernie Mathews
