Mary N. McClelland, age 72, a resident of Pasadena for 25 years, died on January 4, 2013 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center.

She was born on November 4, 1940, in Boston, MA, to the late Grace and William Clegg. She worked in the healthcare field at Baltimore Washington Medical Center, in the Radiology department, and lovingly worked as a devoted caregiver to the children of Allison and Charles Sacker: John, Bobby, and Sarah.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 27 years: Paul A. McClelland, and her brother Richard H. Clegg.

She is survived by her daughter Nancy Hill, of Summerville, SC; her son Paul E. McClelland, of Pasadena; grandsons Jeremy McClelland, of Charleston, SC, and Justin Hill, of Summerville, SC; granddaughters Marissa Hill, of Summerville, SC, and Ashley McClelland, of Pasadena; and grandson Michael McClelland, of Pasadena; two sisters: Helen E. Clegg, of North Attleboro, MA, and Nancy G. Fitzgerald, of San Juan Capistrano, CA; three brothers: William E. Clegg, of West Ossipee, NH, Philip R. Clegg, of Centerport, NY, and Edward T. Clegg, of Standish, ME; and two great grandchildren.

Family invites friends to visit on Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the Gregory J. Gonce Funeral Home, PA, 169 Riviera Drive, Pasadena. Procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 AM to go to St. Jane Frances Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM, with Monsignor Carl Cummings officiating. Her burial will follow in Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville, next to her husband. Those who wish may contribute to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 100 Painters Mill Rd, Suite 800, Owings Mills, MD 21117, and you may express your condolences here as well.
