Teresa C. Howlett, age 89, previously a resident of Mililani, HI and Pasadena, MD, and from Baltimore, MD, died on September 26, 2012 at her home of congestive heart failure after a six year illness.

She was born on September 13, 1923, in Baltimore, to the late Mary Elmo and Nicholas Arduin. She attended Saints Philip and James Elementary School, and graduated from Seton High School four years later. She worked in the healthcare field as a dental technician, and raised three daughters. She enjoyed cooking, especially Italian, as well as eating Maryland steamed crabs with a cold Bud Lite, watching cooking shows, bingo and the lottery, the beach and the ocean, and spending time with her family for dinners and get togethers.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 49 years: Wilbur M. Howlett; her sister Rose Marie Arduin; and her two brothers Anthony and Joseph Arduin.

She is survived by her brother James Arduin, of Baltimore; three daughters: Nancy Bargar, of Pasadena, Joanne Balmilero and Patricia Balmilero, both of Mililani, HI; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Family invites friends to visit on Monday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM at the Gregory J. Gonce Funeral Home, PA, 169 Riviera Drive, Pasadena. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 AM in St. Jane Frances Church, with Monsignor Carl Cummings officiating. Her burial will follow in Parkwood Cemetery. Nancy, our deepest sympathies to your sisters and yourself. I don't believe
a mother could ask for anything more than the love the 3 of you shared with her.

Love,
Herb & Kathy

Hi Mom,
I love you and miss you so much. I am wearing your pink robe and imagining that you are giving me a hug. I have an empty feeling in my heart. If I had one wish in this world, I wish that I could spend one more day with you. You are not only my mother but my best friend. Everywhere I look, I see memories of you. When I go back to Hawaii I know that you will be with me always. When I see the beautiful white rays of light peaking through the clouds, I will remember all of the prayers that I prayed for you and know that now your are trying to heal me. When it is my time to go home, please mom come and greet me.
I love you forever. Joanne.
