Martin C. Gilligan, 54, a resident of Glen Burnie for 11 years, and previously of Baltimore, died April 27, 2012 at his home.
Born May 28, 1957, in Baltimore, to the late Katheryn and Clarence Gilligan, he attended Linton Hall Military Academy and Northeast High School, before working as a sheet rock installer and motorcycle mechanic. He belonged to the NRA and various motorcycle clubs, was an avid military buff, enjoyed computers, model planes, Ravens football, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his two brothers: Michael Gilligan and his wife Pat, and Francis Gilligan.
He is survived by his son Joshua Gilligan and his wife Jackie; two grandchildren: Nicole and Anthony, all of Lumberton, NC; two nephews: Jason Gilligan, of Pasadena, and Neil Gilligan, of Tucson, AZ; his niece Lisa Gilligan, of Pasadena; and his aunt Doris and cousin Melanie of Hillman, Michigan.
Friends are invited to a memorial gathering on Thursday from 7 pm until 8:30 pm at the Gregory J. Gonce Funeral Home, PA, 169 Riviera Drive, Pasadena. The Memorial Service will follow at 8:30 PM. Feel free to express your condolences here as well.
