At the age of 75, Diane Elaine DePascal passed away from complications related to COPD, she was surrounded by her family Saturday, April 27, 2019 in Pasadena, MD.

Diane is survived by her children, Evelyn Gillis and her husband Fred of Glen Burnie, MD; Kimberly DePascal and significant other Rob of Pasadena, MD; Howard (Joe) DePascal and his wife Linda of Pasadena, MD; and David DePascal and his wife Tammy of Arnold, MD.  She is also survived by her brothers, Robert Howell of Hanover, MD; James and Dolores Howell of Severna Park, MD; 9 grandchildren: Glenn Lynch, Jr. and wife Tricia; Tessia Bayse and husband Daniel; Randall Fracasse, Jr.; Nicole Fracasse; Alicia DePascal; Kayla DePascal; Alexandra DePascal, Maura DePascal and Jordan DePascal and 7 great-grandchildren: Haleigh Fracasse, Damien Fracasse, Daniel J. Bayse, Chyanne Amereihn, Brooks Lynch, Giovanni Fracasse and Dominic Fracasse.   She is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence & Alice Howell, her husband Joseph G. DePascal, her sister Faith Schmidt and her granddaughter Nicole Fracasse.

Diane was born on January 22, 1944 in Rising Sun, MD to Lawrence and Alice Howell. She graduated from Arundel High School in 1962. She married Joseph DePascal in 1962. She worked in accounts receivable at Quality Brands Liquors in Glen Burnie, MD and then became a floral designer at Suzanne’s Florist in Pasadena, MD where she retired from.

She was a passionate individual who loved spending time with her family, friends, her beloved cat Scooby and especially her grandchildren and great-grand children. She was passionate about her flower gardens, enjoyed the beach, loved reading books, watching movies, painting ceramics; quilting; sewing; knitting, collecting Boyd Bears and watching Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, Tales from the Crypt, Twillight and her Hallmark Channel.

She was our Grammy!

      The family requests relatives and friends to visit the family owned Gonce Funeral Service P.A. 169 Riviera Drive on Thursday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Jane Frances Church on Friday at 10 AM, followed by interment in Meadowridge Memorial Park. Following interment there will be a celebration of life at Town and Country caterers 2319 Hammonds Ferry rd. Halethorpe MD 21227, which all are welcome.
