Norma Ruth Blackburn, (nee Kreider) died peacefully on July 15, 2016 with her husband John by her side.

Born on May 31, 1930, in Baltimore, she worked at the Kake Kraft Korner in Ferndale for 37 years and taught cake decorating lessons. She is a past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #63.

Norma is survived by her beloved husband John Blackburn; her sister Shirley Anne Parks; her daughter Gay; her son John; granddaughters Holly and Melody; great granddaughter Harmony; and many other grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Family requests friends visit at the Gregory J. Gonce Funeral Home, PA, 169 Riviera Drive, Pasadena, 21122 on Wednesday from 10 AM until 12:30 PM, at which time her funeral service will begin, with Rev. John Taylor officiating. Her burial will follow in Meadowridge Memorial Park.
