Michael Joseph Brown, age 60, a resident of Glen Burnie, suffered a sudden heart attack and passed away on March 20, 2016.
He was born on January 10, 1956, in Baltimore, to Margaret and the late Kenneth R. Brown. He graduated from Cardinal Gibbons High School in 1974, and went on to Catonsville Community College, where he received his Associates Degree in Accounting. He then worked for the Capital Gazette, and for Atlantic Bingo Supply as a credit manager. He was a fan of many sports: football, wrestling, baseball, and lacrosse; loved to work out at the gym; and enjoyed watching movies.
Mike is preceded in death by his father Kenneth R. Brown.
He is survived by his three sons: Eric Brown and his wife Amy, of St. Petersburg, Florida, Justin Brown, and Adam Brown, both of Pasadena; his mother Margaret Brown, of Eldersburg; mother of his sons Kathy Brown, of Pasadena; three sisters: Mary Roberts and her husband Christopher, of Woodbine, Kathy Shearin and her husband Tom, of Monkton, and Ann Nettles and her husband Ted, of Woodbine; his brother Stephen Brown, of Catonsville; and two nephews: Brock and Pierce Shearin, of Monkton.
The family invites friends to visit at the Gregory J. Gonce Funeral Home, PA, 169 Riviera Drive on Wednesday from 10 to 11:30 AM. The procession will then leave the funeral home to go to St. Jane Frances Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 Noon. His burial will take place in Lakeview Memorial Park following Mass.
