On December 28, 2015, Charles L. Braun, beloved husband of the late Dorothy (Schultz) Braun passed away peacefully.
He is survived by his brothers Robert (Bob) and his wife Patricia (Pat) Brauns, brother Henry Brauns and sister in-law Ada Schultz, numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, god children and friends.
He was affectionately known to everyone as Uncle Charlie; a wonderful person, mentor, father to many, an excellent listener, and a friend who loved to hug everyone. He always referred to Aunt Dorothy, his beloved wife of 58 years, as “His Bride”. Uncle Charlie retired from Bethlehem Steel, and was a University of Maryland graduate where he played basketball which is why he was so passionate about March Madness. He was an avid sports fan of the Baltimore Colts, Baltimore Ravens, Baltimore Orioles and Maryland Lacrosse. He lived a long and happy life surrounded by people that dearly loved him and is finally home with his bride. Uncle Charlie and Aunt Dorothy loved their happy hours at home sitting at the kitchen nook talking, reminiscing and solving all of the world’s problems together and now they are together again having happy hours in heaven.
Per Uncle Charles' request his celebration of life will be scheduled for a later date, which will then be posted here. In the meantime, feel free to express your condolences below.
