Posted by: Keenan (Glidewell) Barker Fri February 14, 2014 | I met Bill when I was doing genealogy and he helped me track down information. He was always kind to me. I enjoyed our short visits when he was collecting donations at the cemetery on Memorial Day weekend. And I'll always remember and appreciate that he took the time to come to my Dad's funeral. He may have been distant family, but he was the epitome of family and I'm proud to have had our paths cross. My sympathies and prayers to the Jackson family. He was a gem. ~Keenan (Glidewell) Barker, Gladstone, MO |
Posted by: Peggy and John Giltner Fri February 14, 2014 | We would like to be there to pay final respects to my dear Uncle Billy, but Virginia snow storms are in full bloom so we will not travel. Billy was a very important person in my childhood. He entertained me and my sister, Patty, for hours with his home made family cartoons and magic tricks. He could pull a wad of Kleenex out of his elbow and once pulled a scarf right out of his ear....we were amazed. I have a million memories of a special person who lived right and treated everyone right. My condolences to Judy and the rest of Billy's family. I know they will miss him greatly. May he rest in peace. |
Posted by: William and Tricia Reger Thu February 20, 2014 | Our thoughts and prayers are being sent to the Jackson family. We weren't able to know Mr. Jackson in a personal way but feel his children, specifically his daughter Coleen, who we are privileged to know, must be a true testament to what an outstanding Christian man he must have been. His faith truly lives on through them. |
