We are saddened for the Elaine and the entire Stanturf family with the loss of Bill.  He was truly a gentle man and a steadfast man of God.  We sat across the aisle from him & Elaine during church services and I especially loved to watch him as we sang.  He made me feel that we were indeed in the presence of God.  We are blessed to have known him as he was among our favorites in our church family.  God bless Elaine and the family.

Patty, so sorry for your loss; I'm sure he was ready to go to his heavenly home and knows he will see his loved ones again.  God Bless you and Vernon as well as the rest of your family at this time.

Larry and I extend our sincere sympathies to Bro. Stanturf's family.  It's been a very long time since I've seen Bro. Bill.  On July 2, 1966, you united Larry and I in marriage and you did a very good job--we are still together and loving each other with a beautiful family!  May you rest in peace in the loving arms of our Savior.  Thank you for your service to Curryville Baptist Church.

We were certainly saddened to hear of Bro. Stanturf's passing.  Unfortunately, we didn't hear until too late or Deb and I would have certainly tried to have been with you during this time.  Your family has always had a special place in our hearts and he will always be remembered as a "gentle giant of the faith" by me.  May you take comfort in knowing that he has heard the words of his Lord and Savior welcome him home by saying, "Well done, good and faithful servant."
