Jeremy and I shared some great times together and memories that will always warm my heart. I took him to a basketball game of Rahel''s when she was younger and it was amazing how much love he had in his heart for her. His sense of humor, kind heart and infectious laugh will stay with me forever.

Burgundy, you are in my thoughts and prayers.  A co worker aged 38 just lost her husband, age 40.  Being with her at this time reminded me how short life is.  You are so young to have to go through this but your family and daughter should be a great source of strength to you.  Your mother certainly can understand what heartbreak you are going through.  Our days on Reveille Lane seem so long ago.  Although we have lost many dear to us, look into your daughter''s eyes and you will know your beloved is always with you in her smile.

I worked all over the country with Jeremy.  On the road, we all become our "road family".   He was a very big part of our family. He was such a joy to be around.  He was always smiling and joking, and genuinely cared about how peoples lives were going.  He was a fierce friend and he is greatly missed.

The first time I ever saw Jeremy here in Springfield, MO I decided I wouldn''t like him just from his looks. And I was immediately jealous and thought I wouldn''t like him once I met him as he was such charismatic, good looking, well spoken young guy and all the girls were just gaga over him while I was was a 53 year old, short, chunky insecure individual.

Shortly after, I officially met Jeremy through a mutual friend, Duane Dempster and  discovered he was one of the sweetest, most down to earth people  I had ever met. He came out to my cabin several times to play cards and was just one of the funnest people to be around. He was so compassionate, sincere and caring and had that special something that just made you feel good from being around him. He was truly a wonderful person and anytime I ever spent some  time with him came I came away as a better person. Chapter 13 of  1st Corinthians teaches us that without love we have nothing. Jermey had great love for his children his family and his friends. He will be greatly missed here in Springfield, as he was loved by many and my prayers go out to all of his family that he cherished so much. May God bless you and provide some comfort during this difficult time

Jeremy will be missed by so many. I have not seen him  for years, but I will never forget his smile, anytime I seen him he was smiling. It almost makes me  smile to think of his smile, it was just so contagious.....This is so heart wrenching and I want  the  family to know  that you are all  in my thoughts and prayers. There are hundreds of posts on  walls on facebook about Jeremy. He was and will forever be loved by so many.

Blessings and prayers for all  who knew and loved Jeremy.
One summer, may years ago,Jeremy and my son Brian Johnson, took off for Florida, thats pretty much when I got to know Jeremy, at first I thought  those two boys together ,would never be up to any thing good, but a friendship  began, and a loyalty between them that continued through the years.
After Brian died, Jeremy was the first friend to come out here to see us, and those wonderful visits we so looked forward to. I felt such love for Jeremy, he really cared about us, and how we felt, any thing he could do, he did,he helped me plan Brians memorial garden, and the flowering cherry tree  he gave us for that garden,  is still  beautiful every spring. He went out to Briains grave side,  and sat with his guitar until he had  composed  lyric and tune from his heart, a song for a beloved  friend. They shared a love for another song, "Say goodbye, don''t follow" well, they are together now, and they are good.
One of the most touching things Jeremy ever did for me, for all of us,  was on New Years Eve, the first year after Brian died, I mentioned this at Jeremy;s funeral, but for those of you who didnt hear it,altho it seemed like every one in Trenton was there, I will tell it again,my favorite story of Jeremy''s huge loving heart, and compassion. It was straight up 12 midnight that first NYE, and the phone rang, you could have heard a pin drop in our family room, where we were all gathered, missing Brian, and talking about how we would all miss his midnight calls, I answered the phone, and it was JEREMY, wishing us a happy new year, and saying that he would like to step in for his friend Brian and continue the midnight calls to me, on NYE like my son had done every year since he was out on his own.  This meant every thing to me,to us, and now I will miss those calls from the one who became  like  a son to me. I will never forget,I will never stop missing, I will never stop loving, another piece of my heart belongs to Jeremy, but some day, when I see him and Brian again in heaven, my heart will be whole again. Peace sweet boy.

I was just one of the many lives Jeremy touched here in Springfield. His smile was a warm welcome everytime I encountered him and he had the generosity and cool friendliness to talk to my wife and I as if we had known one another for years. Rest easy and in peace, Jeremy.

Terry, you're so right...Jeremy really was one of the most down to earth, compassionate, and sincere people I have ever known.  He truly changed my life for the better and I think of him often and miss him so much.  He was so genuine and always listened to my troubles and understood me.  His friendship comforted me often at times when I felt alone.  I miss him, but I will always honor his memory, and try to be the friend that he always was to me.
