With deep regret I heard the news today. I love you very much and I always think of you often. I would love to hear you play your guitar dance to every song you played. I would love to hear about your time in the Navy. Almost 20 years ago you and aunt Janis gave me a ride home from one of your gigs. I was lost and you were telling me about the Navy. I went the next week and joined and I never looked back. Thank you for everything you did for me. You will be Miss Uncle!!!!! |

We became friends while working together @ Hy Vee in the late 50's and have been friends since that time. As you know, I always called him "Mustard" because my grand father was a friend of his grand father and referred to him by that nick name. He was one of only 4 people I have ever given an authentic FBI hat which I hope will illustrate my affection and respect for him. Mike Klipp and I always tried to look him up when in town & were lucky enough to see him @ Hy Vee in September. I have on my "flyin mule" hat. |
