Posted by: Bob D Dunkin Tue January 01, 2019 | I always looked up to Charles as a calm and collected individual who enjoyed family reunions and always wanted to know how things were going for you. He cared about everyone and made an impression with anyone he met. Growing up I saw him and James help Uncle Don with keeping the farms going. He put himself into anything he believed in and loved being around family. I will always remember him fondly, and miss his infectious smile. The world has lost a truly great person in Charles Wayne. |

Posted by: Sheila Lee Thu January 03, 2019 | Sending my deepest sympathy to the family of Chuck. I enjoyed the time I worked with Chuck in Henrietta. He and Bernice was a lovely couple that my son and I got to know. Any time the Aquila group would get together he would always ask about Chuck and Bernice. The last time I spoke with Chuck was the middle of last year. How he laughed when he asked me about my two sons. A little joke because when I introduced my young son at the time to Chuck and Bernice, I used his middle name the family called him. Chuck and Bernice came to one of my plays and while reading my Bio they notice a different name for my son and asked the question "does Sheila have two sons?" To the family I say remember the good times and he will always stay in your heart. |
