Billie was an awesome person. I feel fortunate in having had her for a "special" close friend and confidant over my years in Missouri. I will cherish many happy memories of Billie Dove and Woody that I hold deep in my heart forever. They will never be forgotten! My heart aches for the whole family but I pray you can find comfort in knowing you all played a very special part in her well-lived life. My thoughts and prayers are with you. | Posted by: Jack and Connie Bourne Sat May 07, 2016 | We are so sorry to learn of aunt Billie's passing, but rejoice in wonderful memories of years gone by and the knowledge that she is not suffering. Our annual family trips to Virginia and Missouri were the highlights of my youthful years. I remember grandpa Davis's store, berry picking while looking out for snakes, skinny-dipping with cousins, wolves howling at night at the Jackson farm, and my muddy walk with Tommy up to the farm after a storm. And the memories go on and on. It is a great pleasure to be a part of this wonderful family. Billie has earned her place in Heaven with our Savior, and all of the family that has preceded her. Our sincerest condolences to her family and all who loved her so much. |
