Donald Louderback, a 97 year old resident of the Sunnyview Nursing Home in Trenton, MO, passed away at 8:15 PM Tuesday May 24, 2011 at the nursing home where he had resided since 2009.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday at the Resthaven Mortuary in Trenton. Rev. Barry Boulware will officiate. There will be a scheduled family visitation from 7 until 8 PM Friday at the mortuary. Burial will follow in the Martin Cemetery located north of Trenton, MO. Memorial contributions have been suggested to be given to either the Martin Cemetery or the Green Hills Area Animal Shelter.

Mr. Louderback was born on March 30, 1914 in Kansas City, MO the son of Walter E. and Elmira Jackson Louderback. He attended the Parkerton Grade School and graduated from Trenton High School in 1933. After graduation he worked for the WPA (Work Progress Administration) in the Durthic Hill quarry running a road grader improving township roads in the area. He was married to Wanda Lee Wise on June 9, 1946 at Trenton, MO. She preceeded him in death on January 16, 2010. They farmed all their married lives in the Forks of the River area until they retired in the 1990’s. They raised row crops, hay, sheep, hogs and beef and dairy cattle. He also enjoyed talking on his C.B. radio.

Mr. Louderback is survived by a daughter, Donna, now Mrs. Dyle Wilson of Trenton, MO : a brother, Dell Louderback of Trenton, MO. and a brother-in-law, Ivan Campbell of Trenton, MO. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
