Billie Dewaine Elwood, an 86 year old resident of Trenton, MO, passed away at his home on March 15, 2011 where he was under hospice care.
At the request of Mr. Elwood, a private burial was held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens of Trenton. Resthaven Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Elwood was born on April 18, 1924 in Sullivan County, MO the son of Miss Cecil Elwood. He served in the Army Air Corps during WWII. He was married to Frances Helen Easter on February 23, 1946; she preceded him in death on December 17, 1983. He was a farmer and worked at Modine in Trenton for several years. He was a member of the Half Rock and Tenth Street Baptist Churches.
Mr. Elwood is survived by his companion, Norma Gilgour of Chillicothe, MO.
