Mr. Mike Knapp 55, a resident of Trenton, Mo. died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2019 at 8:05 P.M. at home.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Feb. 11, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at the Union (Coon Creek) Baptist Church west of Trenton. Burial will be in Cook Creek Cemetery.
Family visitation will be held Saturday, Feb. 9, 2019 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Whitaker-Eads Funeral Home, Trenton.
Mr. Knapp was born Sept. 9, 1963 at Muscatine, Iowa the son of Donald T. and Elnora A. Chrisman Knapp. He Graduated from Trenton High School. He was employed by Nestles of Trenton as a high lift operator.
He was a member  and deacon of the Union (Coon Creek) Baptist Church west of Trenton, and was also a member of the Gideon's.
On Oct. 9, 1983 he was married to Sherry Y. Stoops at Trenton.
His survivors include his wife Sherry of the home. One daughter Maerissa Knapp, of  Karen, Kenya. Two brothers Marvin Knapp and Caina Chapman, Trenton, Mo. and Marc Knapp and wife Annette, Polo, MO. Also surviving are his father and mother-in-law Larry and Barbara Stoops, Trenton, two sisters-in-law Laurie Frisbie and husband Craig and Stephanie Whitney and husband Frank all of Trenton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Micah D. Knapp, two sons Matheson D. Knapp, and Malachi D. Knapp.
Memorial in memory of Mike Knapp can be made to the family in care of the funeral home.

My sincerest sympathy to Mikes family. I worked with Mike at the plant. He was a good man who loved Jesus and his family. May he Rest In Peace now in the comfort of Jesus, his children and loved ones. I know he will missed beyond no measure.

We loved Mike like family. Gonna miss him. Has been a great friend. Supporter and Deacon and Gideon representative. Best Skit actor. Encourage r. If ya needed help he was there. Gonna miss his laugh and 😃. And I can hear him say do ya know Jesus.
