I've known Scotty only a few years. I first met him when I moved into Pembroke Condominiums and started helping him with maintenance projects. I was there when he hurt his leg...and I've spent countless hours visiting with him, going out for ice cream or a meal...or working on our cars. I found him to be a kindred soul...a fellow gearhead...a great friend. Scotty, you left a permanent mark on my life. Love you, brother!!

Who would have thought buying a set of S-10 wheels from an ad in the paper from you would have turned into a great friendship. I think you meet people in your life for a reason, especially people who are car gurus. Working on you S-10 to customize it to YOUR liking has been a joy. Your excitement each time bringing the "latest" project to get started on, like a kid ready for Christmas. This latest project was to be started this week and we are so saddened we are not continuing. Thank you Scotty for the laughter and stories. You will be missed, you are already missed. Until we meet again....

I met Scotty at a Pembroke Garden homeowner meeting. After the meeting, we visited for an hour while standing outside in a light rain shower. That night was the starting of a 10 year friendship.
Scotty and I shared an interest in pool playing and car shows. He was an exceptional pool player. I watched him compete in several pool tournaments (he even helped me improve my game) We also went to several car shows. One of his passions was working with wood...his woodworking was beautiful. I also had a lot of admiration for Scotty, he never let his health issues stop him. He kept a positive attitude, went with the flow and NEVER gave up.
Scotty was proud, strong willed, and opinionated but under that tough exterior was a very caring man with a big heart and he loved helping others. I will miss you dearly my friend. Until we meet again...
