Mary Sims, a 77 year old Trenton, MO resident, passed away at 2:55 a.m., Friday, July 06, 2018 at St. Luke’s Hospital on the Plaza in Kansas City, MO.
Mary Ann Sims was born April 8, 1941 in Alpha, MO to John and Ruth Selby Engleman.  She was raised in the Alpha and graduated from Laredo High School.  On May 4, 1958 she was united in marriage to Glen Dean Sims.  He preceded her in death on September 6, 1978.  For many years Mary worked for Lamberts Glove Factory. Later she worked for Banquet Foods and HY-VEE where she retired in 2016.  In her spare time she loved reading while sipping coffee and being with her family
Surviving relatives include her children; Terri Bethards of Chillicothe, MO, Kelly Jacobs (Melvin) of Chillicothe, Dena Barron (Jose) of Trenton, Scott Sims of Galt, MO, Amy Chowning of Chillicothe, MO and David Sims (Charlette) of Brookfield, MO, 18 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren.
Those preceding her in death include her parents, husband, brothers Frank and Seb Engleman, sons Jerry and Michael Sims, daughter Kris Sims, and grandchildren Kalyn Bethards and Jose Barron IV.
Memorial services are scheduled 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 13, 2018 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton.  Inurnment will follow in Alpha Cemetery near Laredo.  A visitation is scheduled from 10:00 until service time Friday.  Memorial donations are suggested to the family and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.

So sorry to hear of Mary Ann passing, she was a very kind lady. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, may God comfort and bless you.

Mary Anne Sims, you will be greatly missed. You were a very loving person that would help anybody out if you were able to. I will miss you dearly as a person & as my mother in law. My children Mitchell, Dakota, & Charles will miss you dearly as their "mamaw".
