Emily Frances Vaughn, an 87 year old Trenton resident, passed away at 3:51 p.m., Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at St. Luke’s Northland Hospital in Kansas City.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 18, 2018 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton.  Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Gardens of Trenton.  A visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time Monday with open visitation beginning at noon on Sunday.  Memorial donations are suggested to either Wesley United Methodist Church or the Sunnyview Foundation and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
Emily Frances Vaughn was born April 25, 1931 east of Tindall, MO to Gilbert Francis and Lera Ann (Wagner) Fitzpatrick.  She graduated from Trenton High School with the class of 1949.  In 1950 she was united in marriage to Richard Eugene Allnutt.  He preceded her in death in 1979.  After raising her children Frances decided to work and was employed in the Hy Vee Bakery in 1968 and later worked with Shaffer’s in Chillicothe where she stocked the lunch room at Modine.  In 1986 she was remarried to Merle Vaughn.  He also preceded her in death that same year.  Mrs. Vaughn was baptized in the Trenton First Christian Church Disciples of Christand later became a member of Wesley United Methodist Church.  Frances was very artistic and enjoyed painting, crafts and sewing.  She also was an avid fisherman, but her favorite thing was to spend time with her grandchildren.
Surviving relatives include her daughter Rebecca Cochran and husband David of Trenton, son Randall Allnutt and wife Dorothy of Trenton, a brother Robert Fitzpatrick and wife Patricia of Meridian, ID, a sister Dora Gross and husband Jim of Trenton, and grandchildren Emily Katherine Cochran Archer and husband Greg and Richard Gregg Allnutt.
Those preceding her in death include her parents and husbands.

I love you Aunt Francy. You will always hold a special place in my heart. I enjoyed our last visit together and I will cherish the memories of that visit. Thank you for being such a kind, sweet, loving and caring Aunt and Great Aunt.
